Job Description:

The Senior Distribution Manager is responsible for enforcing the strategic distribution approach of S Hotels and Resorts PCL LTD and ensuring that individual hotels effectively optimize available resources to maximize online channels. This role will work closely with revenue management, digital marketing, and e-commerce teams to enhance distribution efficiency and channel performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee brand website and online travel agent (OTA) rate distribution to ensure optimal visibility and competitiveness. 
  • Work closely with Commercials and Revenue team to ensure optimal channel mix through data-driven decision making and continuous performance evaluation. 
  • Monitor and manage distribution costs, commission structures, and partner ROIs. 
  • Communicate with OTA market managers to analyze performance trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain and update OTA content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Implement and manage distribution-related systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure rate parity across all distribution channels. Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to optimize pricing and inventory strategies. 
  • Manage booking systems for ancillary revenue streams, optimizing additional revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on channel and offer performance to the hotels and SHR management with actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including revenue management, marketing, and IT, to align distribution strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Track and analyze KPIs including channel contribution, booking trends, conversion, and profitability of channels and partners connected to distribution systems. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to improve distribution performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members within the distribution, sales, hotel operation teams or e-commerce functions. 
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments for new hotel projects, takeovers, conversions, and rebranding. 
  • Coordinate technical and operational transition plans, including IT, HR, brand standards, and procurement. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in distribution and/or revenue within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with hotel openings, acquisitions, takeovers, or large-scale renovations. 
  • Proficiency in Central Reservations Systems (CRS), OTA extranets, global distribution systems (GDS), and channel management tools.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English and Thai is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, distribution technologies, and e-commerce strategies.
