Job Description:


Under the general guidance and supervision of the Vice President – Global Commerce has the primary responsibility to sell and promote the SAii Laguna Phuket, SAii Phi Phi Island Village, SAii Koh Samui Choengmon and Santiburi Koh Samui to the international Leisure and MICE segment to optimize opportunities through proactive planning and execution of sales plans and strategies which ultimately stimulate demand for room nights, drive incremental revenues by managing the Sales Organization, and stimulate product demand and target market share for brands/hotels.


  • Provide sales services to property within the assigned sales territory to approved customer database.
  • Design the strategic outlines of a monthly sales activity plan.
  • Work with the Cluster General Managers to assist with sales strategy to include positioning, pricing, competition analysis for the Leisure and MICE segment.
  • Provide a full area market intelligence service about the competition and the travel trade market and trends monthly for responsible market.
  • Design the strategic outlines of a monthly sales activity plan.
  • Work with each of the resort and brand appointed GSAs on a regular basis for continued property updates and to drive awareness and opportunities in their respective markets
  • Focus on assertively establishing new client contacts and developing detailed information on the potential revenues from these.
  • Participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows as required to meet the sales targets of the cluster.
  • Provide a monthly report about all sales activities and business trends.
  • Handle sales events, exhibitions, and sales trips upon budget plan for for appointed markets
  • Introduce and update key and select Leisure and MICE partners through joint and sole sales calls.
  • Handle all incoming inquiries from the trade, consumer and media from designated territory.
  • Ensures an up-to-date knowledge on resorts product and service offerings, including promotions. In addition, to be familiar with the products, services, rates new developments of our key competitors, and an awareness of general industry trends.
  • Maintain a full working knowledge of the IT support tools used in the world of sales today, including sales-specific software, property PMS, the Microsoft Office toolset
  • Actively target new accounts via sales calls, sales trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure that the sales function is carried out smoothly and commitments are met.
  • Build up good rapport with the other hotel departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Vice President Global Commerce
