Perform an independent/objective assurance reviews and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations to accomplish its objectives by bringing systematic, approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes
Applies an in-depth understanding of the inter-relationships of throughout the corporation and environment and the audit approach
Develop the risk-based audit plans, audit assignment and complete the assignment as planned
Assess overall internal controls, practice and cost-effective
Report internal control weaknesses and the progress of corrective actions to the management and the Audit Committee
Monitor the corrective actions agreed by business managements to ensure timely implementation
Support management in the maintenance of effective controls and operational risk management
Lead the internal audit department, supervise and develop internal audit team members
Play a role in the relevant corporate governance policies, e.g., Anti-Corruption, Whistleblowing as defined in the policies
Maintain independence at all times and not to be involved in day-to-day operations and decision-making processes
Take and perform roles of secretary to the Audit Committee including arrangement of the Audit Committee meeting
Assist the Audit Committee and CEO when requested
Qualifications:
10-15 years of experience in internal audit field
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting or any related field
Holding professional certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CPA would be preferred
Good knowledge of Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance
Knowledge about Listed Company Regulation/Practices/SEC would be preferred
Well organized and ability to multi-task handling
Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, maturity, and sound judgment
Good Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of people
